5. Navigate to and delete the following registry entries:
   • HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\”[RANDOM CHARACTERS]” = “rundll32.exe “[RANDOM DLL FILE NAME]“, [RANDOM PARAMETER STRING]“
   • HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\[RANDOM CHARACTERS]\”ImagePath” = “%System%\svchost.exe -k netsvcs”
   • HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\[RANDOM CHARACTERS]\Parameters\”ServiceDll” = “[PATH TO THE THREAT]“
   • HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\[CLSID 2]\”[WORD 1][WORD 2]” = “[BINARY DATA]“
   • HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\[CLSID 2]\”[WORD 1][WORD 2]” = “[BINARY DATA]“

To ensure that all registry subkeys or entries are removed or restored, log on using each user account and check for any HKEY_CURRENT_USER items listed above.

End Infected Processes

1. Press the three-key combination of Ctrl, Alt and Delete.
   
2. Click on "Task Manager."
   
3. Click on the "Processes" tab.
   
4. Right-click on "Win32/Heur.exe," and select "End Process."
   

Delete Infected Registry Keys

5. Click on the "Start" menu.
   
6. Click on "Run."
   
7. Type "regedit" into the dialog box and click "OK." The Registry Editor window will open.
   
8. Locate the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Win32/Heur" in the left pane of the Registry Editor window.
   
9. Right-click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Win32/Heur," and select "Delete."
   

Delete Infected Files

10. Click on the "Start" menu.
    
11. Click on "Search" or "Search Files and Folders."
    
12. Search for and delete any files named "Win32/Heur." These files may have different extensions. For example, you may fine Win32/Heur.exe or Win32/Heur.dll.
